Fulton man arrested for having meth, running from police
FULTON - The Fulton Police Department arrested a man Saturday morning for having meth and trying to run from police.
The Fulton Police Department said officers arrested 32-year-old Jeremy Shiverdecker around 1:30 a.m. Saturday near Bluff and 12th Street.
Officers said they saw suspicious activity in the area and when they went to talk Shiverdecker, he ran. During the pursuit, officers said they saw Shiverdecker throw something into the yard he was running through.
Officers said after they caught Shiverdecker, they searched the area and found meth that was individually packaged, presumably for distribution.
Officers arrested Shiverdecker for possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute and resisting arrest by flight.
He was in the Callaway County Jail Saturday morning with a $14,500 bond.
