Fulton Police Arrest Chronic DWI Offender for Fifth DWI

FULTON - Police arrested a man for his fifth DWI charge on Sunday.

A Fulton police officer stopped 40-year-old Larry D. Threlkeld at 9:01 a.m. for speeding on Highway 54. Threlkeld was driving 100 mph in a 70 mph zone while intoxicated.

Threlkel's driving status was revoked at the time of the incident. He had a felony warrant out of Callaway County as a chronic DWI offender. Threlkeld was arrested for driving while revoked, speeding, and for felony as a chronic DWI offender. Threlkeld has four previous DWI convictions.

He has a 10 year denial and won't be eligible to get his driver's license back until 2021.

Threlkeld was transported to the Callaway County Jail on a $60,300 bond.
