FULTON - An erratic driver led Fulton police on a pursuit that ended in a crash, a foot chase, and an arrest early Wednesday morning.
Fulton police said they attempted to stop driver Travis M. Schroer for driving erratically in the 800 block of Court Street just after 2 a.m. Police said Schroer refused to stop and then lead officers on a short pursuit.
Schroer crashed his vehicle into a trailer, which was parked in the 200 block of W 6th Street, according to police.
After crashing his vehicle, Schroer allegedly got out of the vehicle and fled officers on foot until being chased down and taken into custody a few blocks away.
Schroer, a Fulton man, was arrested on charges of felony possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest for a felony, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license, leaving the scene of an accident and driving in a careless and imprudent manner.
He was taken to the Callaway County Jail on a bond of $7,000
