It's the holiday season and the Governor's mansion gets into the spirit Monday morning. Although a strong wind prevented workers from setting up a 35-foot spruce outside, they were able to line the mansion with 2000 feet of live garland. They set up an 18-foot tree inside the building, and covered just one quarter of the tree with 1100 lights. There will be a kickoff event this weekend where visitors can enjoy the decorations. The governor will be there to greet people on Friday.
