WARDELL, Mo. (AP) - An investigation continues in southeast Missouri after a live grenade and bomb-making materials were found inside a home.
KFVS-TV reports that the Pemiscot County Sheriff's Department received a call Saturday about an intoxicated person, leading them to a home in Wardell. That's where they allegedly found a live grenade, bomb-making materials, drugs and several weapons.
Sheriff Tommy Greenwell says 48-year-old Harold Kentner was arrested. He is facing several charges and is jailed on $200,000 bond.
Kentner's wife says her husband isn't dangerous and never intended to cause harm.
