JEFFERSON CITY - Multiple organizations are working together to raise money to build a home for a paralyzed Missouri Veteran. The "smart home" will be built for 23-year-old Corporal Tyler Huffman and his family.
The homebuilders association of central Missouri recently donated more than 1,800 dollars to the cause. The Tunnel To Towers Foundation, the Gary Sinese Foundation and the Jefferson City Community are all participating in the project.
Huffman became paralyzed after he was shot by a sniper while serving in Afghanistan.
