ST. LOUIS (AP) - A Florida woman pleaded guilty to federal charges stemming from filing false tax returns using stolen identities.

The U.S. Attorney's Office for Eastern Missouri said in a release Monday that 28-year-old Tania Henderson, of Wesley Chapel, Fla., pleaded guilty in St. Louis to one felony count of theft of public money and four counts of aggravated identity theft.

Sentencing is scheduled for July 30.

The federal prosecutor's office says that in 2012 Henderson's plan involved obtaining individuals' detailed personal information and using that information to submit more than 200 bogus tax returns in their names.

She's also accused of manipulating the numbers on the tax returns so the taxpayer would be due a refund of about $7,000 and then using family and friends to receive the money.
