Hallsville Schools to Talk Bus Safety with "Danger Zone" Program
HALLSVILLE - It's been nine years since the Wright family's son, Jacob, died after his own school bus ran him over in Neosho. Jacob was six years old. The Wright family has dedicated their lives to promoting school bus safety ever since. As the school year begins, the family wants to remind students, parents and school districts of the potential dangers of school busses.
Hallsville Schools will have a program Thursday at 5:30 p.m. to talk about bus safety procedures, as well as Jacob's story and how it has affected his family the past nine years.
Topics such as what's considered the "danger zone" around busses will be discussed. Details on the event and Jacob Wright can be found at http://jacob-wright.com/.
