Helias' opening football game against Nixa has been moved to Sunday, August 24 and will be nationally televised on ESPNU.
The Crusaders have been to four-straight state championships games, but have been unable to capture a state title.
Helias went 12-3 last season, falling to Webb City 28-14 in the Class 4 state championship game.
Helias is headlined by tight end Hale Hentges. The 6'4'', 230 pound senior committed to the University of Alabama in May and is ESPN's second-ranked tight end for the class of 2015.
Hentges caught 61 passes for 940 yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior last season.
Nixa has some firepower of their own.
The Eagles went 9-2 last season and Alec Murphey rushed for 1,793 yards and scored 22 touchdowns. The running back has collegiate offers from Mississippi State, Iowa, Illinois, Iowa State and Kansas State.
The game will be played at Helias High School in Jefferson City at 3:30 p.m.
