Historic Train Visits Jeff City
JEFFERSON CITY - The Union Pacific Challenger 39-85 train rolled into the Millbottom area near Missouri Boulevard for anyone to take a look. The Challenger is one of 105 trains built for Union Pacific between 1936 and 1943.
It is pulled by what is considered the largest and most powerful operating steam engine in the world. The Challenger's next stop is St. Louis.
