Holt's Summit man sentenced to life in prison for statutory sodomy
JEFFERSON CITY - Michael Kreps was sentenced to life in the Missouri Department of Corrections Thursday.
Kreps plead guilty on July 19 to eight counts of statutory sodomy.
The investigation started in August and September 2014 when the Boone County Cyber Crimes Task Force and Callaway County Sheriff's Department were alerted about allegations of child molestation by Kreps.
During the investigation, the task force said it found evidence that Kreps and Tenessa Wolfe worked together in multiple acts of statutory sodomy on a prepubescent girl.
Kreps and Wolfe were both arrested May 2015 by the Callaway County Sheriffs Department.
After Wolfe's arrest, the task force learned the identity of the girl and said the acts happened in Jefferson City in 2011.
Earlier this year, Wolfe pleaded guilty to five counts of statutory sodomy and was sentenced 25 years in the Missouri Department Corrections.
