Housman Case Nears 20th Anniversary
ST. ANN - Some St. Louis-area investigators say they're still haunted by a child abduction and killing that occurred 20 years ago.
Angie Housman was a 9-year-old fourth-grader from St. Ann when she disappeared on Nov. 18, 1993, after getting off a school bus. Her body was found nine days later tied to a tree at Busch Wildlife in St. Charles County. The case drew nationwide attention.
St. Louis Area Major Case Squad director Bill Baker told KMOX Radio that he is still bothered that the killer was never captured. Baker says he doesn't believe it was a case of stranger abduction, and that someone has information that could solve the case.
