I-70 open again in St. Louis after fatal wreck
ST. LOUIS (AP) — Eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 are open after a fatal accident in downtown St. Louis.
The single-car accident happened just after 3:30 a.m. Wednesday when the vehicle left the roadway and overturned onto Broadway. One person was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim's name has not been released.
The eastbound lanes of I-70 were closed for about three hours, backing up rush hour traffic before they reopened after 6:30 a.m.
