IBM Lays Off Columbia Workers
COLUMBIA - Alliance@IBM, an employee advocacy group based out of New York, confirmed IBM made job cuts in Columbia Thursday. It is not known at this time how many jobs were cut.
According to Bloomberg, IBM began laying off workers in New York, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Oklahoma and North Carolina as part of a $1 billion restructuring.
The last round of layoffs in Columbia occurred in June 2013.
