BOONE COUNTY - An Illinois man wanted by several law enforcement agencies was arrested Wednesday night by Boone County deputies.
Gordon D. Caldwell, 45, of Madison, Ill., was allegedly driving a vehicle stolen from Iowa City, Iowa.
He was arrested at the Highway 63 connector shortly before 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Caldwell is in the Boone County Jail on $113,000 bond. He has outstanding warrants from St. Charles and Jefferson counties and several jursidictions in the St. Louis metro east area.
A female passenger, Rosalind Grant-Stennis, 47, of East St. Louis, was arrested for suspicion of tampering and was later released.
