Interview Subjects & Hair Styles
Robert Robinson wrote us to say "This morning I heard an interview of a member of the MU football team refer to his teammates as "weapons" and the fact that they had better "weapons" than Nebraska and that the game could become a "shootout." Robinson went on to say."Since when did reference to a football game, or any game for that matter, become subject to urban streetgang vernacular? Do you really believe this is acceptable language? Do you believe this is a good example for younger kids? I found the interview offensive and I would think your sports reporters could find someone a bit more intelligent and eloquent to interview."
And Louise Holt has a question about our anchors hair.
Louise wrote us to say."Just a curiosity question, do all the ladies that report the news on air have different colored wigs that are styled the same? Or is it just a coincidence that all the girls hair styles are very similar. Just curious I for one would like some diversity."
If you see similarity, it may come from our efforts to move college students into a more professional hairstyle- styles that can sometimes look alike.
All of the KOMU anchors have real hair.
