COLUMBIA - An investigation into allegations of topless waitresses at a recent police union fundraiser has been completed, according to a press release from the Columbia Fraternal Order of Police.

In the findings, the Columbia F.O.P. describe the unsigned letter sent to the Columbia Daily Tribune as "overstated."

According to the completed investigation, there was an incident that occurred where an unknown number of women exposed their breasts at a remote location which was far away from the clubhouse. The Columbia F.O.P. stressed that it does not approve of, nor condone such behavior.

The event was private, and no Missouri laws were broken in the process, so the issue is being dealt with as a private matter between Truman's and its employees.
