Iraq War Reaches Four Years
"I feel like there are a lot of problems over there right now, and its basically, do we withdraw, so we stay? It's hard to say, there probably needs to be something done four years ago, but right now, its kind of a big mess," Columbia resident Craig Yaeger said.
Others say Americans have a responsibility.
"Now that we are in Iraq, and we have established a presence, I think it is our responsibility to find the most beneficial way to withdraw troops and avoid further conflict, and help everyone else without just abandoning something we have started," MU student Anna Kopp said.
President Bush urges Americans to remain patient. He says pulling troops out now would be considered an American failure.
