JC Charity Looking to Fill Gap Between Holidays

JEFFERSON CITY - One charity is looking to fill the charity hole between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
The Central Missouri Women's Connection,an African-American Women's Organization, will host its first community service project at 4:30 p.m. Thursday. It will take place at the Samaritan Center in Jefferson City.
Members will donate canned food items to help replenish supplies that have been used up after Thanksgiving ended.
