JCHS Assault Suspect in Custody After Fleeing Scene
JEFFERSON CITY - An 18-year-old Jefferson City male has been arrested for resisting arrest by fleeing and third-degree assault after an incident at Jefferson City High School. Tuesday morning the JCPD responded to an assault at the high school. A victim and a witness both claim that the suspect pushed a JCHS staff member and left the building.
When the school assigned officer approached the suspect for questioning, he fled on foot. Other responding officers and the school officer were able to apprehend the suspect at the 900 block of Jackson. The original victim involved in the assault altercation was unharmed.
