Jefferson City Correctional Center inmate dies
JEFFERSON CITY - The Missouri Department of Corrections announced Wednesday an inmate serving time at the Jefferson City Correctional Center died Tuesday afternoon of apparent natural causes.
David Owens, the communications director for the Missouri Department of Corrections, said 75-year-old James Doyle was serving 12 years for two counts of first-degree statutory sodomy from Douglas County.
Owens said Doyle was pronounced dead at 3:57 p.m. Tuesday.
