Jefferson City drug bust arrests two with cocaine and heroin
JEFFERSON CITY - The Jefferson City Police Department and MUSTANG Drug Task Force arrested two people in a drug bust involving cocaine and heroin.
Authorities used a search warrant in the 2300 block of Southridge Drive to seize 10 ounces of cocaine, two ounces of crack cocaine, one ounce of heroin, drug money and other paraphernalia.
Jefferson City police said both suspects face charges for first-degree drug trafficking and felony possession of controlled substances. The department said one of the two people arrested has a long history of drug trafficking.
Both unnamed suspects are currently in the Cole County Jail.
