Jefferson City man pleads guilty to cocaine conspiracy
COLUMBIA - A Jefferson City man is facing a minimum of 10 years in prison Tuesday after pleading guilty to his part in a conspiracy to sell up to five kilograms of cocaine.
Mario Alberto De La Cruz, 43, admitted to selling cocaine in Columbia and other places in Missouri from Aug. 2 to Nov. 10 of 2015, as well as selling 56 grams of cocaine worth $1900 to undercover federal agents on Aug. 28 of that year.
De La Cruz faces a maximum sentence of up to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
