Jefferson City police respond to report of shots fired on Monroe Street

JEFFERSON CITY - Jefferson City Police responded to several reports of shots fired Thursday morning. 

The incident happened in the 800 block of Monroe Street. Callers reported an incident between several males in a parking lot that resulted in gunfire. 

Officers found multiple shell casings at the scene, but have not found any victims or reports of damage.

Police interviewed witnesses and attained some suspect information, which has not been released at this point.
