Jefferson City to Hold Conference on Fire Department Improvement

JEFFERSON CITY - Today the Committee for a Safer Community in Jefferson City will hold a press conference for the fire department improvement plan.
The plan, which goes before voters on August 7th will reduce the city's property tax by 17 percent for citizens of Jefferson City on personal property, residential property and commercial property.
Firefighters, committee members and citizens will meet at fire station one at noon.
