COLUMBIA - National Bowl Game player Jeremy Hampton has confirmed his spot in the Sunday game.
Hampton, a senior at Westminster, is one of 99 other athletes from across the country recognized as the best Non-FBS college football players.
At the end of the 2013 season, Hampton was named to the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Defensive Backs First Team. He finished the season with 20 solo tackles and 20 assisted tackles. Additionally, he had four pass breakups and five passes defended.
The National Bowl Game is a post-season college football all-star game held annually, consisting of 100 top players from Non-FBS schools.
This is the 4th annual game, and will be presented by East Preps on Sunday December 8 at 12:00 PM. The games will take place on Alfonso Field at FIU Stadium.
Hampton will wear the number 21 jersey, playing for the Blue Nation team.
