AUGUSTA, GA. - According to Gary Parrish of CBS Sports, Jontay Porter said it is "a safe assumption" that he will reclassify and join the Missouri basketball team for the 2017-18 season.

Jontay, the younger brother of Missouri freshman Michael Porter Jr., is currently ranked as the 14th best recruit in the country by 247sports in the class of 2018.

Porter announced his commitment to the Tigers in May, but stayed quiet about potential reclassification, stating that he would announce his decison around the time of Peach Jam, currently taking place in Augusta, GA.
