Judicial Commission Announces Mo. Supreme Court Applicants
COLUMBIA - The Appellate Judicial Commission announced 13 candidates to replace Judge Michael A. Wolff on the Supreme Court of Missouri.
The 13 candidates are as follows:
Timothy R. Cisar, George W. Draper III, Gretchen Garrison, Richard A. Gartner, Lisa White Hardwick, Joe D. Jacobson, Paul G. Lane, James R. Layton, Michael W. Manners, Karen King Mitchell, Glenn A. Norton, Mark D. Pfeiffer and Erwin O. Switzer.
All 13 applicants will be interviewed. Interviews begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, and at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, in the Division II courtroom of the Supreme Court Building. The building is located at 207 W. High St. in Jefferson City. The public is welcome to observe the interviews.
The commission will meet beginning at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1 at the Supreme Court building to select three applicants from the pool of 13. Gov. Jay Nixon will make the final selection of who will take the vacant spot on the judges' panel.
