K-9 search finds drugs and firearms in Lake Ozark
LAKE OZARK - The Missouri State Highway Patrol stopped a vehicle driven by a 31-year-old man last Thursday before finding drugs and firearms with assistance from an Osage Beach police K-9 search dog.
Authorities pulled Michael J. Hall over at a traffic stop on Horseshoe Bend Parkway after his Cadillac displayed a 2013 dealer tag. The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Hall after finding drugs and firearms in the vehicle.
Police then obtained a search warrant for both Hall's residence and vehicles.
Around 6:45 p.m. Thursday authorities discovered more than 9 pounds of marijuana, firearms and other illegal drugs.
Missouri CaseNet says Hall is charged with two felonies, posession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm.
He is also charged with two misdemanors, unlawful posession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license.
Osage police said Hall is being held at the Camden County Jail, and court records show his bond was denied.
