KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- A Grandview man has been convicted of killing a pregnant woman in Kansas City. The Jackson County prosecutor's office says jurors found Calvin Boswell guilty on Friday of two counts of second-degree murder for fatally shooting 25-year-old Ashley Thomas in November 2009 when she was nine months pregnant.
