KC Police Search for Jewelry Store Robbers

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kansas City police are searching for two suspects wanted in a jewelry store robbery Tuesday. 

The two male suspects stole an unknown amount of jewelry from Lichtenberg's Fine Jewelry on 13137 State Line Road after smashing a display case with a hammer around 2 p.m.

The suspects then fled in a black Pontiac Grand Prix with no visible license plates.

The suspects are described as two white males in their mid-twenties. One suspect was described as wearing a dark colored, hooded jacket. The second suspect was described as wearing a dark colored jacket and khaki pants.

The suspects are believed to have ties to Columbia and Topeka, KS.
