Koster to Announce $196 Million Settlement
JEFFERSON CITY - The nation's five largest mortgage lenders settled with the government in one of the largest deals ever, landing Missouri consumers and the state a settlement of more than $195 million, according to Attorney General Chris Koster.
The banks will pay off the money over the next three years.
