Lennon announces run for Boone County southern district commissioner
COLUMBIA - Brianna Lennon announced early Tuesday morning that she will be running for Boone County southern district commissioner as a democrat.
Lennon is a former Missouri assistant attorney general and first coordinator of the Elections Integrity Unit in the Missouri secretary of state's office. She first joined the Consumer Protection Division of the Missouri attorney general's office after graduating from the University of Missouri School of Law.
"I'm committed to using my experience protecting consumers, ensuring honest elections, and working with county government in the attorney general and secretary of state offices to keep Boone County the best place in Missouri to live and raise a family," said Lennon.
Fred Parry, chairman of the Boone Hospital board of trustees, Ted Farnen, a former state representative, Ashland Mayor Gene Rhorer and Sheriff's Deputy Trevor Fowler are also running for the position. Karen Miller, a democrat, serves as the current southern district commissioner.
