Lincoln Athlete Named MIAA Womens Field Co-Athlete of the Week
COLUMBIA - Lincoln’s Diana Cauldwell has been selected as the MIAA Women’s Field Co-Athlete of the Week Tuesday afternoon. This is the first time she has been awarded this honor.
She leads the MIAA in the long jump with a distance of 5.91 meters. Cauldwell also ranks eighth in the NCAA Division II.
Cauldwell is the second-straight Blue Tiger to earn the MIAA Athlete of the Week award. Sharolyn Josephs-Hamblet received the same award last week. So far, three members of the Lincoln women’s indoor track and field team in total have been honored by the MIAA, with Kimberley Bailey earning the award on Dec. 13.
Lincoln will conclude its regular season this Friday, Feb. 17, at the UCM Classic hosted by the University of Central Missouri.
