JEFFERSON CITY - Due to forecasts for inclement weather in the Kirksville area, Tuesday's (March 12) baseball double header between Lincoln and Truman State will be moved to Jefferson City on Thursday (March 14). The twinbill was orginally scheduled to be played at Truman State, but the coaches agreed to moved the games to Lincoln in order to get them in this week. As a result, the April 24 double header will now be played in Kirksville.
First pitch on Thursday is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. CDT for what will end up being the Blue Tigers' 2013 home opener. Lincoln is 2-6 on the season and 2-3 in MIAA play this season while Truman State is 2-11 both overall and in conference play.
