Linn Man Dies in Evening Collision in Osage County

OSAGE COUNTY - One man is dead after a three-vehicle accident on U.S. 50 just east of C.R. 810 around 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
Michael Keeling Jr., 20, of Linn died after attempting to pass a vehicle as he headed west on U.S. 50.
His vehicle struck an oncoming truck and then traveled back into the westbound lane, striking the vehicle he was attempting to pass. He was not wearing a safety device and was ejected from his vehicle.
Keeling's vehicle and the trailer from one of the trucks caught fire. He was pronounced dead at 10:30 p.m.
No other injuries were reported.
