JEFFERSON CITY - Dreams to Reality held its semiannual clothing sale Saturday morning to help low income women save money on profeessional clothing.
United Way and The Women's Alliance partnered with Dreams to Reality for the sale.
Women bought donated items like dress suits, shoes and jewelery.
Liz Lehmann is the Vice President of the Board of Dreams to Reality. She said the event is more than just helping women dress for the part, but a push to help them land jobs.
"Having that self confidence is going to get you the job and that's what we're all about. Helping women get jobs," said Lehmann.
"We help them with their outfit, but it's all about confidence and self esteem."
All the items in the sale cost less than five dollars.
Lehmann said clients can sign up for an appointment with Dreams to Reality. During appointments, volunteers give interview tips and help pick out a professional outfit for their interview.
