Maclin, Temple, Daniel Shine in Tigers Home Opener
Missouri's Jeremy Maclin scored twice and with a total of 275 yards on the day. Tiger Tony Temple also scored two TDs. And QB Chase Daniel three for two touchdowns and scored a third on his own.
The first half saw the Tigers dominate the Broncos, with Mizzou up 31-3 at the end of the second quarter. Western Michigan rallied in teh second half, closing the gap to 14 at one point. But Missouri held on and widened that gap back to 28 by the end of the game.
Daniel went 27 for 46 passing, with a total of 328 yards. He also had a career-record 39-yard run. Maclin caught seven for 96 yards and returned five kickoffs for the same total.
