Man accused of pointing a gun and threatening people on ATVs
BOONE COUNTY - Boone County Sheriff's deputies said they arrested a Columbia man Sunday after he allegedly pointed a gun and made threats to people riding ATVs.
Sgt. James Perkins said deputies arrested 63-year-old David Baker around 7:45 p.m. Sunday after Baker verbally threatened and pointed a shot gun at people riding ATVs in the 800 block of Nancy Drive. Perkins said Baker confronted the people about their excessive speeds.
Perkins said Baker was taken to the Boone County Jail and processed for unlawful use of a weapon and third-degree assault charges.
Baker's bond is set at $5,000.
