Man charged for multiple burglaries in southern Callaway County
CALLAWAY COUNTY - The Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney's Office filed several charges at the end of January against a man police said was responsible for burglaries in Holts Summit, Tebbetts and Mokane.
21-year-old Joseph Green of Tebbetts was investigated for several burglaries in southern Callaway County from September to December 2016.
Green was charged with first degree burglary for an incident at a Holts Summit business. He was charged with second degree burglary and receiving stolen property for a commercial burglary at a Tebbetts business.
He was charged with two counts of tampering with a motor vehicle. The first charge stems from a home burglary and vehicle theft in the Mokane area. The second was the result of theft of a commercial vehicle from a business in Holts Summit.
Green was being held on $23,500 bond for all Callaway County charges. He was also being held on no bond for various Cole County warrants for burglary, drug possession and gun theft.
