Man charged with murder in St. Louis fatal shooting
ST. LOUIS (AP) - A 27-year-old man faced several charges including first-degree murder in a St. Louis shooting that left one man dead and two others injured.
Anthony Altick was charged with two counts of first-degree murder and three counts of armed criminal action. He was being held in the St. Louis City Justice Center Monday morning in lieu of a $750,000 cash only-bail. It wasn't immediately known if he had an attorney.
Police said the Saturday shooting wasn't random. Shots were fired Saturday morning from inside a duplex unit. Three men outside of the building were struck multiple times.
Darryl T. Simms, of East St. Louis, Illinois, was killed. One man was listed as critical but stable late Saturday. Another was listed as serious but stable. Police said a fourth victim ran from the scene.
