Man drowns at the Lake of the Ozarks
LAKE OF THE OZARKS - A St. Charles man drowned at the Lake of the Ozarks after suffering a medical issue and falling into the water, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The incident happened at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday. The man, identified as E.D. Smith, was located face down in the water near a sea wall and was pronounced dead around 6:15 p.m. Wednesday by the Camden County coroner.
The incident happened near the 26 mile mark of the Osage Arm, according to the patrol.
