Man Found Shot to Death in SW Missouri Home
ROGERSVILLE, Mo. (AP) - A 25-year-old southwest Missouri man's death is being investigated as a homicide.
Rogersville police and other law enforcement agencies say the man's mother found him dead in his home Monday morning.
Police Chief Paul Laughlin says the man was shot in the head. He says the death is not considered a suicide but released few other details.
The man's home is across the street from Logan-Rogersville Upper Elementary School but the school was not placed on lockdown.
Missouri State Highway Patrol Sgt. Jason Pace says investigators are looking for a banged-up red 1993 Chevrolet pickup with no tailgate that is missing from the man's home.
