Man Survives Plane Crash
William Elliot crashed his ultra-light, two-seater plane in Moniteau County after having landing problems. But, he was wearing a helmet and walked away with only minor cuts and bruises.
"In my opinion, he is very lucky to be alive," Missouri Highway Patrol officer Brent Fowler said. "He just missed power lines and several tree tops, and came to rest in the creek bottom."
Elliot's plane went down about a mile north of the California airstrip.
