MEXICO - Mexico High School Advanced Children's Theatre performed its Reader's Theatre piece "Missing" Wednesday night. The performance was a compilation of stories about missing and abducted children throughout Missouri.

The performance began with a monologue from "A Child Called It." Students then portrayed both missing children and their families throughout the original play. The group placed second in district competition, missing state qualification by only four points, in March.

Wednesday's performance was in honor of Child Awareness Month. The school also accepted donations for the Audrain Crisis Intervention Center.
