MEXICO- 39-year-old Christopher Deornellas was arrested Thursday for enticing a child, promoting obscenity and furnishing pornography to a minor.

The Audrain County Prosecuting Attorney's Office officially charged Deornellas Friday. His bond is set at $75,000.

Deornellas was taken to the Audrain County Jail.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's Division of Drug and Crime Control, investigators posed as a minor online that Deornellas agreed to meet.

Investigators served a search warrant at Deornellas' residence in Mexico. They located and seized electronic and computer equipment Deornellas used to commit the crimes.

The commanding officer of the Division of Drug and Crime Control said internet users should report anyone who tries to engage in unwanted, inappropriate or sexualized communications with children.
