MID-MISSOURI - Despite severe weather watches and warnings, several area sheriff's departments, 911 call centers and state highway patrol troops report no damage Friday morning.

KOMU 8 News reached out to three state highway patrol troops, four sheriff's departments, and two 911 call centers, but nobody had any damage to report. Aside from some hail in several cities across Mid-Missouri, there were no reports of flooding damage, power lines down or trees down.

We first warned viewers over Twitter about a Tornado Watch in Chariton, Macon, Pettis and Saline counties around 1 p.m.

This progressed into Tornado watches, warnings and severe thunderstorm watches and warnings all over the viewing area.

For a storm that warranted several counties to have severe thunderstorm watches and warnings as well as tornado watches and warnings, the damage reported was extremely minimal.
