Mid-Missouri Sporting Event Schedule Changes
COLUMBIA -- Due to inclement weather, the following sporting events have been moved from their originally scheduled dates or canceled.
- All HAAC Baseball Championship Series Spring Classic games scheduled for Friday have been postponed. The league will try to finish the tournament Saturday in a single-elimination format. The Thursday game featuring Central Methodist leading MidAmerica Nazarene 8-0 with one out in the bottom of the eight will be finished Saturday with first pitch at 9 a.m. CT.
- The American Midwest Conference Softball Tournament has been postponed for Saturday, May 4th. The same bracket as previously released will be played as scheduled however the location of the second field has changed. Field 1 would be played at the Antimi Black Field and Field 2 will be played at the American Legion Field. Both fields are located in Columbia, Mo.
- No. 11 Mizzou softball's Friday, May 3, series opener against No. 4 Tennessee, originally scheduled for a 6 p.m. start, has been postponed due to adverse weather conditions. The Saturday (6:30 p.m.) and Sunday (Noon) games remain as scheduled.
