Mid-Missourians Pro-Life Protest
COLUMBIA - A controversial fixture on Providence Road is set to move into high gear Wednesday and pro-life mid-Missourians kicked off their "40 Days for Life" Campaign Tuesday night.
On Tuesday, people gathered to rally for the cause at Our Lady of Lourdes church.
The director of the campaign, Kathy Forck says she expects 150 participants over the course of the campaign, and says they could see as many as 20 people here a day.
"You know, we're just doing what we feel called to do and we respect the other people's viewpoints also," Forck stated.
Forck also says she doesn't think people will be hurt by their efforts.
The campaign comes just after Planned Parenthood in Columbia decided to put a hold on all abortions. The pro-life camp sees that as something of a miracle.
