Missouri auditor set to audit legislature for first time in two years
JEFFERSON CITY - Missouri State Auditor Nicole Galloway said Tuesday she would audit the Missouri General Assembly, including the House of Representatives, the Senate and supporting functions.
The regularly scheduled audit for the general assembly was most recently conducted in March 2013 with an overall performance rating of "good" for both the house and the senate.
In 2013, findings were issued for House of Representatives' operating policies and procedures, contingency planning and personnel policies.
The 2013 senate audit findings included information related to the Senate Administrator's Fund, operating policies and procedures, National Conference of State Legislatures' report recommendations and contingency planning.
Anyone who wants to provide information for consideration during the audit may contact Galloway's office at 800-347-8597.
